Recommended Restaurant – Paprika Club – Regent Street, Leamington Spa

Without doubt one of the top three Asian restaurants in Leamington Spa. The modern, contemporary décor makes an impact along with the warm and friendly welcome.

The extensive menu is really imaginative, one of my favourite starters is the ‘Fish Tikka’ -  pan fried Salmon Steak coated in sprinkled tumeric and rock salt.

Rosemarie’s first course was Stuffed Pepper, this was brilliantly presented with the whole green pepper stuffed with spiced minced lamb and baked in the Tandoori oven. I could not resist her offer to try a small piece and it’s definitely one to remember on our next visit.

As expected meat eaters are well catered for with all of the well known dishes available but I highly recommend the ‘Monk Fish Fantasy’. Here the Monk fish is marinated and pan fried with red chillies and cauliflower with a generous touch of coriander, it truly is delicious. Other fish dishes are also available including Sea Bass which can be served whole or filleted.
Rosemarie has a bias for Chicken when ordering Asian food and she was true to form with her choice. Tamarind Chicken, is succulent chunks of chicken cooked with a variety of herbs and spices in a tantalising sauce.

The Wine List is impressive, very extensive but far from expensive. The house wine is most palatable and at only £8.95 a bottle it leaves a great after taste too.

Recommended Restaurant – The Keep – Castle Street, Warwick

The Keep formerly Richochets is an excellent venue with lovely food presented beautifully and a very friendly staff.
I would particularly recommend there Thursday evening fish night for excellent value.

Recommended Restaurant – Café Raj – Smith Street, Warwick 

This is excellent restaurant established in 1979, all food is Natural colours. Staff are very friendly. Front of house manager Bob gave excellent customer service and is very polite. We enjoyed the meal very much. Bob also offered us free Brandy at the end of the meal.
