The Shakespeare Inn

The Shake" (as locals know it!) is a delightful country pub set in the Warwickshire countryside. Serving a selection of pub food and a la carte meals the food is simple yet full of taste and elegantly presented, with dishes to suit all tastes and generations. The wine list is diverse, covering a variety of countries from across the World. As you would expect beer is plentiful with traditional guest ales changing frequently. The premises are a Grade II Listed building, with oak beams and flagstone floors. Combining with the traditional features is a little modern flair, to create an inviting and slightly contemporary approach to dining. Customers also benefit from free on site car-parking and a well-maintained garden to sit and enjoy just a drink or a meal.

The Shakespeare Inn is the perfect venue for private functions, such as Christenings, Birthday Celebrations or small to medium Wedding receptions, to name but a few. The experienced Head Chef and team are on-hand to make your special event as unique and exclusive as you would wish it to be. Co-ordinating flower and decorative touches can also be provided for.

Anton and Gaynor Thorpe warmly welcome you to their traditional country inn on the Fosse Way in the heart of the beautiful Warwickshire country-side. Eathorpe is just 10 minutes from Leamington, Warwick & Kenilworth. Chefs Anton and Nick prepare all the dishes using the finest locally sourced produce and offer a very extensive menu with daily chefs specials. Food is served all day Sunday and you always have a choice of three roast joints with fresh vegetables, new and roast potatoes and lashings of traditional gravy. The main menu and specials are always available too. Recent refurbishment has created a contemporary lounge area but retaining the real log fire so ideal for relaxing and having a drink on a winters day. The Plough can cater for small or large parties. ‘Lunchtime Specials’ Monday to Friday are hard to beat with 3 courses for £6.95 or for the smaller appetite a 2 course starter or pudding with a main course for £5.95. There is always a roast of the day with that menu.
